Branches of the Nova Spartan Army
42nd Elite Battalion
This battalion is the most elite in the army. Only the best Nova Spartan troopers are in the battalion, each one is hand picked by Warmaster Spartan 42. They undergo rigorous training and constant field exercises in order to stay experienced and battle-ready. They are only chosen for the most important missions, and failure is not an option for them. They have access to the best gear and best technology that Nova Sparta can offer them. Their armour is gold with a crimson red trim, the traditional colours of Nova Sparta.
65th "Thunder Guard" Regiment
Although not the most skilled troopers in the army, they are definitely the most famous. Specifically for their leader, Commander Lokan. They are known as the "Thunder Guard" because of their "strike fast, strike hard" policy. They are easliy recognised by their dark blue armour, with an orange trim.
18th Radiation Division
Due to the increasing threat of nuclear attack, the 18th Radiation Division was created. Specially equipped and trained for radioactive situations, they are Nova Sparta's primary offensive force in the event of a nuclear attack. Their armour is different to standard Nova Spartan armour. The helmet is a Nova Spartan helmet that has been modified with a gas mask-type attachment, with several tubes leading from the mask to several small canisters on the back armour plate. The armour is Pitch Black in colour with the visor and trim being Green.
8th Siege Battalion
Used primarily for prolonged battles, the 8th Siege Battalion are prefectly trained and equipped for battles that last for a long period of time. They have an arsenal of Siege weapons, such as Artillery guns, Walkers, and various other Heavy Assault Weapons. They have dark red armour with a light yellow visor and trim.
