Nova Spartan "MK" Rifle Series

Mk.III Prototype

Picture
The Mk.III was one of the final Prototypes for the "MK" Rifle Series. Despite certain design deficiencies (such as an large, unwieldy Barrel, a small Charge Pack, and aesthetic problems with the Frame), the Mk.III was still a durable weapon, and has been offered up for improvement within Imperial Arms Research.

Mk.IV Rifle

After cleaning up problems with the Mk.III, the Mk.IV was developed, and finally put into Full Scale Production. The Mk.IV is superior to the Mk.III in a number of ways. It has a more durable Frame, a more compact Barrel, plus a Charge Pack increase to 20 shots. Although it lacks any form of Scope, the Mk.IV is a reliable Infantry Weapon.

Mk.V Rifle

The Mk.V is a significant improvement on the Mk.IV. The most noticeable change made to the Mk.V is the improvement of the Barrel and Frame, making it more durable and better aesthetically. The Mk.V also features a faster rate of fire. This, coupled with a Charge Pack increase to 25 shots, greatly improves the Rifle's capabilities.

Mk.VI Rifle

The Mk.VI is only a small improvement on the Mk.V, making it more comfortable and more aesthetically pleasing. The Mk.VI features the introduction of a Handguard, plus improved Iron Sights.
